Pidgin and Google Talk

I changed my gmail password and now I found out that Pidgin won’t connect to Google. I finally figured it out after much PITA ..

Anyway I upgraded Pidgin to 2.6.2 . On my XP machine this are the settings :

1. Domain: gmail.com
2. Resource : Home
3. Force old (port 5223) SSL
4. Connect port : 443
5. connect server:talk.google.com

Everything works after this!
